The PostScript page description language has been a worldwide printing and imaging standard for more than 20 years and is now found in many business and graphics imaging devices, particularly in devices that connect to the Apple Macintosh line of computers. Adobe PostScript is still licensed by many printer OEMs, but there are also many PostScript emulations on the market today. All major printer companies have PostScript solutions available for their customers.
QualityLogic wrote our first PostScript test suite for PostScript Level 1 as implemented on the Apple LaserWriter. The tests were developed primarily for emulators of PostScript, but over the past 20 years we have found that emulators and Adobe licenses find great value in the rigor and independence of our test suites.
To help you get your high-quality PostScript implementation to market quickly, QualityLogic has developed a set of test suites and tools to ensure conformance to version 3015 of the PostScript 3 specification and interoperability between producers and consumers of PostScript documents. QualityLogic PostScript tests are designed for companies that produce printers, MFPs, and software that views, edits, converts or otherwise consumes and processes PostScript files.
- Ensure your implementation’s compliance to the PostScript specifications with Comprehensive Evaluation Tests (CET)
