Itron ChoiceConnect® ERT® Certification Program
QualityLogic has entered into a certification agreement with Itron to test the compatibility of various in-home/in-office display (IHD) and gateway technologies with Itron’s smart metering solutions. The results enable Itron customers to easily identify which products to consider for their customer engagement programs. The Itron ChoiceConnect ERT Certification Test confirms interoperability (and for devices that fail to meet the standard, provide diagnostics on the failure). Products carrying the Itron ChoiceConnect ERT Certified Logo will provide electric, gas, and water utilities a straightforward and objective way to identify compatible devices for their customer engagement programs. Logo testing will also help device manufacturers know that their devices are meeting reliability and interoperability standards.
