What is the ISV Solutions Testing Program?
It is a test developed by Microsoft and implemented by QualityLogic to allow Independent Software Vendors to have their product tested for compatibility with Microsoft Office Accounting.
Once a product successfully completes the testing process,
Microsoft will award the ISV 20 Partner Points that will help the ISV
to qualify, e.g., for the Microsoft
ISV/Software Solutions Competency or a higher partner level at Microsoft
and thereby gain access to additional partner benefits.
What are some examples of areas that will be addressed during testing?
Microsoft has identified compatibility and design requirements that govern:
- Application Install/Uninstall processes
- Basic functionality and error handling
- Integration and compatibility with Microsoft Office Accounting
- Security and access control to Microsoft Office Accounting
data

- The product is fully functional with Microsoft Office Accounting.
- The product was designed to take advantage of the unique benefits of Microsoft Office Accounting.
