Before you submit your software product for logo
testing, verify that it meets the logo requirements. Download and review the guidelines. New guidelines are now available for Designed for Windows Mobile 6.0 (May 2007).The Handbooks contain guidelines on specific features and
functionality that your software product must meet in order to qualify
for the logo.
- Register your company.
Fill out the company and primary contact information on the
completely and accurately, in English.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Primary Contact Email Address you enter on the registration form must match your .NET Passport in order to sign Microsoft's Logo Licence Agreement and have your product listed in the Mobile2Market Catalog.
- Complete and sign the QualityLogic
Vendor Test Agreement.
After you submit the form, you will be sent to the Vendor Test Agreement
(VTA) page. Please review the VTA and indicate your approval by checking
the digital signature ("I approve") checkbox. You will then
be returned to the Registration Form to complete your Product and Other
Contact information.
This agreement is your contract with QualityLogic for the testing, and
is required in order to proceed with the logo process.
- Register your product.
When you approve the VTA, you will be returned to the Registration Form.
Complete the form by providing information about your product(s) and other contacts.
After you submit your Registration Form, you will receive an email with
your Unique Product Identifier(s) (UPID) for your records. Please make note of this number or print the email, as you
will use the UPID throughout the logo testing process to obtain status
details on your product.
- Complete the Payment Form.
After you submit the Registration Form, you will be taken to the Payment
Form. You may pay for logo testing with either a company or cashier's
check, or with a major credit card. Logo testing on your software
product(s) cannot begin until QualityLogic has received your payment.
If you wish to pay by credit card, a processing fee will apply. This
fee is noted on the payment form. Complete the payment form, print it,
sign the authorization, and fax it to 805-531-9041 or mail it
to:

After you have printed the Payment Form, click "Continue"
at the bottom of the form to go to a checklist, which will help you
ensure that your submission is complete.
- Assemble and submit your product.
Assemble a final, customer-ready version of your software product. The
product should be delivered to the QualityLogic Test Team in the same
form and fashion it is delivered to your customers. If the product ships
on a CD, mail us the CD. If it is usually downloaded from the web, provide
us with the URL or FTP site and any access information required.
The assembled product should also include all components necessary to
completely install and operate the end product, such as a user guide,
installation guide, prerequisite software, registration number, dial-in
instructions, required password(s), and any proprietary or prerequisite
hardware (e.g., a proprietary memory card).
Your software product and all of its associated components will be treated
with the utmost security and confidentiality. Specifics of confidentiality,
intellectual property rights, ownership and trademarks, as well as disposition
of products and components submitted to QualityLogic for logo testing
are covered in the VTA.

Be sure to include a prepaid return address label.
QualityLogic will send a confirmation email to your
Primary Contact when your test submission has been received and verified.
- Receive your logo test results.
Logo testing will be completed within five (5) business days of QualityLogic's
receipt of your complete package. Upon successful completion of logo
testing, a Logo Test Report will be sent electronically to the individual
listed as the Primary Contact on the Registration Form and Microsoft
will be notified. If your product does not pass the logo testing, your
Primary Contact will receive an electronic Test Failure Notification
detailing the reason(s) for failure. If a failed product is resubmitted
within 24 hours of the Test Failure Notification, the retest fee will
be waived by QualityLogic.
- Sign and submit the Microsoft Mobile2Market
Logo License Agreement online.
After you pass testing, the Test Report you receive
will contain full instructions for submitting your LLA online via Microsoft
Passport.
  Incorporate
the Designed for Windows® Mobile Logo
After you've submitted your LLA, Microsoft will provide the individual
listed as the Primary Contact on the Product Registration Form with
a Logo Kit via email. You may then legally display the Designed for
Windows® Mobile logo on your product, collateral and related materials.
