Interoperability
testing verifies the fax device's ability to complete calls and exchange
fax messages with a wide variety of other fax devices and host-based fax
software systems.
The facsimile protocol is notorious for an ambiguity
that still leaves many compliant fax devices unable to communicate with
each other. Test your device against the range of fax implementations
that it will encounter in the real world.
Tools
Note: Agilent's Telegra fax testing tools have been discontinued.
QualityLogic's line of fax testing tools provide superior value and support.

Services
- Fax Device Interoperability Test: Using the emulations of up
to 130 different V.17 and 15 V.34 fax devices, QualityLogic will design
and execute a test that ensures that your fax implementation can communicate
with the range of other fax devices it will encounter. We will run the
T.30 and Nominal synthesized emulations followed up with your choice
of real device emulations from the FaxLab Device Emulator against your
product. This will test it against the most common implementations of
T.30 and against those found in a wide range of actual production fax
equipment. All observed defects are reported to your tracking system.
- Fax application interoperability test: QualityLogic will test
your fax device against your selection of fax composition and management
software to verify operational compatibility. All observed defects will
be reported to your tracking system.
- Device specific tests: QualityLogic will test your fax device
against your selection of opposing fax devices and/or create FaxLab
emulations of these devices for use in your lab. All observed defects
will be reported to your tracking system.
We can also test U.S.-based Windows or localized versions.
