QUALITYLOGIC ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF FAXLAB 6.1.1, AN UPDATE TO ITS FAXLAB INTEROPERABILITY TEST TOOL
Moorpark, CA –May 23, 2007 – QualityLogic (www.qualitylogic.com) has released an update to its FaxLab interoperability test tool. FaxLab emulates a wide variety of fax devices, and simplifies and deepens compatibility testing. The FaxLab 6.1.1 update replaces the FaxLab 6.1 engine. It adds improved V.34 to V.17 fallback, a new profile acronym — "flagms" — for improved channel messaging, improved V .21 DIS recognition after V.8 negotiation failure, and adjusted timeouts for retrain intervals to facilitate T.30 message exchanges. The upgrade is free to current FaxLab 6 users.

For fax terminal testing, FaxLab is available in a single-channel version that either originates or answers a fax call.
