& Touche 'Fast 50' ProgramMoorpark, CA, July 25, 2001 - QualityLogic has been named to Deloitte & Touche's prestigious "2001 Los Angeles Fast 50" program, a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in the area. Rankings are based on the percentage of growth in revenues from 1996-2000 (five-year period).
QualityLogic's CEO and president, C. Michael Smith, credits an innovative approach to software quality assurance services and the hard work of QualityLogic's skilled staff with the company's 176 percent revenue growth over the past five years. To qualify for the Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 1996 and $1,000,000 in 2001, must be public or private companies headquartered in the Los Angeles area; and be "technology companies" defined as companies that produce technology, manufacture a technology product, are technologically intensive and/or use technology in problem-solving, or devote a high percentage of effort to research and development of technology.
Winners of the 21 regional Fast 50 programs in the United States are automatically entered in the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America's top 500 fastest growing technology companies.
