MAJOR UPDATE TO FAX INTEROPERABILITY TEST TOOL

(www.qualitylogic.com) will release FaxLab®
6, a major upgrade to its FaxLab interoperability test tool, in September 2006.
FaxLab has been used by device manufacturers, network equipment providers, and
carriers for the past 12 years to simplify the process of testing fax-device
compatibility. It is used to test how well a particular fax device operates
by emulating normal operation and error conditions for a wide variety of different
fax devices, as both caller and receiver. FaxLab allows users to replace a room
full of fax devices with software, which saves time and reduces costs. In addition,
FaxLab provides a deeper level of testing than manual testing can offer.
"FaxLab is used by virtually every major Fax device/MFP
manufacturer today, as well as a large number of network equipment providers

6 expands our best-selling test tool, adding additional device simulations,

FaxLab 6 will include 24 new FaxLab device simulations covering single function,
low and high-end MFPs supporting modulations up to V.34 at various resolutions
and compressions. It also provides improved FaxLab V.34 to V.17 fall back, new
enhancements, automation, improvements to FaxLab 5x V.34 simulations and more
V.17 simulations.
Early-bird discount pricing for purchases made before September 15 starts at $14,500 for a complete single-channel version. Early-bird upgrade discounts are available for owners of earlier FaxLab versions. Special bundled pricing with DataProbe and/or FaxExpert are also available.
