A major upgrade to QualityLogic’s FaxLab interoperability test tool, FaxLab 6 allows device manufacturers, network equipment providers, and carriers to both deepen and simplify compatibility testing of fax devices, telecom and VoIP networks. Because FaxLab emulates normal operation and error conditions for a wide variety of different fax devices (178 devices now included), as both caller and receiver, it eliminates the need for users to purchase and test a room full of fax devices.
FaxLab 6 includes 24 new V.17 and V.34 device simulations covering single function, low and high-end MFPs supporting various resolutions and compressions. It also provides improved FaxLab V.34 to V.17 fall back, new enhancements improving overall performance/quality, improved automation for external program control.
