QualityLogic Restructures for Growth
MOORPARK, CA – OCTOBER 30, 2008 – QualityLogic (www.qualitylogic.com), a provider of leading-edge QA and QC test tools and services for the imaging and telecom industries, announced today that it has reorganized into two business units, QualityLogic Services Group and QualityLogic Products Group. Gary James and Steve Kang have assumed new management roles in support of these business entities, reporting to QualityLogic president and CEO Dave Jollota.
James was appointed General Manager of the QualityLogic Services Group, which provides test, quality assurance, competitive analysis and consulting solutions to major office equipment and consumer electronics providers, and Fortune 1000 companies. James co-founded QualityLogic and its predecessor, Genoa Technology, and has served in a variety of senior management roles. He is a pioneer in the resolution of computer printer compatibility problems and helped establish printer performance test standards.
Kang was appointed General Manager of the QualityLogic Products Group, which provides test tools, test suites, automation tools and utilities for printers, MFPs, and telecom network infrastructure providers and carriers. Previously, Kang served as QualityLogic’s vice president of engineering, and in management roles at AHT, Sun Microsystems, ColorBus and Xerox Corporation. Kang holds an MS in Computer Science from USC and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School.
