QualityLogic (www.qualitylogic.com), a provider of leading-edge QA and QC test tools and services for the imaging and telecom industries, launched three new products today at drupa 2008 in Dusseldorf, Germany.  These include QualityLogic XPS eXaminer; PDF 1.7 Functional Test Suite (PDF 1.7 FTS); and SP1 Updates for XPS Test Tools.

QualityLogic XPS Examiner

QualityLogic XPS eXaminer is a powerful tool for developers and test engineers working with Microsoft XML Paper Specification (XPS).  QualityLogic XPS eXaminer allows users to perform every function necessary to open any XPS document file, and examine, analyze, validate, edit and manipulate it – without other applications or ZIP utilities.

In addition, QualityLogic XPS eXaminer allows users to open incorrect XPS files that will not open in Microsoft’s XPSViewer.  With QualityLogic XPS eXaminer, users can troubleshoot root causes of problems in these files, and identify, correct and edit XPS parts and markup.

QualityLogic XPS eXaminer is based on Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 (WinFX) technologies, including XPS, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), and Open Packaging Specification.

PDF 1.7 Functional Test Suite

QualityLogic’s new PDF 1.7 Functional Test Suite (FTS) tests the breadth of PDF imaging operators using structured, easy-to-understand test cases. This suite, which consists of over 600 test cases, helps printer manufacturers and developers of software that consumes PDF to quickly assess conformance of their products to PDF requirements. The PDF 1.7 FTS offers these benefits:

  • Structured, easy-to-understand test cases
  • Quick, easy bug isolation
  • Supports QualityLogic’s new automation test platforms

SP1 Update for XPS Test Tools

QualityLogic’s entire line of XPS test tools has been updated to accommodate Windows Vista Service Pack 1.
