QualityLogic (www.qualitylogic.com), a provider of leading-edge QA and QC test tools and services for the imaging and telecom industries, introduced new tools for test automation, as well as updates for several of their most popular printer/MFP test tools, at WinHEC 2008.

  • New Print-ready Application Test Files – Three new QualityLogic Application Test Suite-Intermediate File (ATS-IF) sets will be introduced – Quark XPress 8, and Adobe Creative Suite 4 applications Illustrator and Photoshop. ATS-IFs for InDesign CS4 and Acrobat 9 will be released by year end. QualityLogic is offering special pricing for purchase of all five new applications through November 28, 2008.
  • New PageSense version – The latest version of QualityLogic’s industry-standard printer and multifunction peripheral performance measurement tool, version 6.1.1, now includes ISO 12640:1997 image files, additional applications, improvements in scripting, and 32- and 64-bit Windows Vista SP1 and Windows XP SP3 support.
  • QualityLogic XPS eXaminer Update – This tool for viewing, validating and editing XPS files is now compatible with Windows Vista SP1 and .NET Framework 3.5 and has been enhanced to include the ability to export a stream level view to an external text report.
  • Automation Tools: TestJob Builder and TestJob Sender save time and labor costs in testing processes. TestJob Builder saves test engineers and QA test teams time by quickly identifying files best suited for regression or spot checking of specific functions of their imaging controller. TestJob Sender is a powerful application that allows you to send any file format to a printing device. Additional TestJob Sender options provide even greater control and flexibility over testing, making available target device performance data output, test job scheduling, remote automatic notifications of test job status, and remote power cycling.
