More ABC’s – ISO vs. ASTM Yield Claims
There are two organizations developing methodologies now in the public domain that printer and cartridge manufacturers are using to make their yield claims – ISO and ASTM. QualityLogic has thoroughly studied the methodologies published by each group and concluded that the ISO methodologies are far more robust and as an independent test lab, we have decided that we will only run the ISO standards when we are contracted to execute a yield test.

If yield is an important criterion in your purchase decision for printers or cartridges, we encourage you to give this a read and decide for yourself which test methods you would want your printer or cartridge manufacturer to use when they make their yield claims to you.
