Do the QualityLogic IEEE 2030.5 Test Tools Implement all CA Rule 21 Requirements?

Home » Blogs/Events » Do the QualityLogic IEEE 2030.5 Test Tools Implement all CA Rule 21 Requirements?

The answer is that we are working to address all of the CA Rule 21 requirements as follows:

  1. Tools developed under the 2016 Accelerator Program will support all of the CSIP required functions that are currently in IEEE 2030.5. We developed this program in large part because of the need for additional support for Rule 21 testing and certification. Version 2.0 of our tools will address all of the CA Rule 21 requirements that are currently defined in IEEE 2030.5.
  2. CSIP requires some new functionality in IEEE 2030.5, and the IEEE 2030.5 Standard Working Group has defined this. There is more work to do, but the Working Group is focused on getting the new version in place as soon as possible. However, we are waiting until the new functional requirements are official parts of the specification before adding them to our conformance testing tools.
